The four coverage packages
Start with the panels you want to protect, then compare coverage and film options. Package names do not define identical inclusions on every vehicle; the written panel list is the scope.
- Partial-front: selected front panels or partial-panel coverage. Confirm the bumper, hood area, fenders and mirrors, including any visible coverage edges.
- Full-front: front-panel coverage selected for the vehicle. Confirm full versus partial panels; headlights, A-pillars and other additions must be listed separately.
- Full-body: coverage of the painted panels specified in the quote. Confirm trim, glass, edges and any excluded areas. Film does not make the vehicle damage-proof.
- Full-body color-change PPF: selected colored or finish-changing protection film on the agreed panels. Review a sample, product specifications and removal considerations before choosing the finish.

A CLOSER LOOK
Look closer.
It is in the details.
Choose the panels you want covered, then talk through the film, finish and installation scope. A clear written plan keeps the build focused on your vehicle.
Talk through your buildWhy full-body color-change PPF instead of a wrap
Vinyl wrap primarily changes appearance; PPF is selected for protection on covered areas. Color-change PPF combines a different look with protection, but no film prevents every chip, scratch or stain.
Compare the exact materials rather than assuming all PPF or vinyl has the same thickness, construction or self-healing behavior. Product specifications, installation scope and written warranty terms should support the comparison.
For an appearance change with paint protection, compare color-change PPF with a vinyl-wrap quote for the same vehicle. Let the desired finish, covered panels, ownership plans and care requirements guide the choice.
What determines your PPF quote
Your quote depends on the vehicle, selected film, panel coverage, preparation and any existing-film removal. Use these coverage options to start the conversation:
- Partial-front PPF · Vehicle-specific quote
- Full-front PPF (sedan) · Vehicle-specific quote
- Full-front PPF (SUV, truck, or exotic) · Vehicle-specific quote
- Full-body PPF (sedan) · Vehicle-specific quote
- Full-body PPF (SUV, truck) · Vehicle-specific quote
- Full-body PPF (exotic/supercar) · Vehicle-specific quote
- Full-body color-change PPF: quoted after we see the vehicle — specialty film and panel count both matter.
Before work begins, confirm the exact film, panel list, edge treatment, preparation, exclusions and installed total in writing. Headlights, glass, trim, A-pillars and any additional work are not assumed to be included.
What to expect during the install
Timing depends on the vehicle, coverage, preparation and film. The shop confirms availability and a completion estimate after assessment. Ask about The Build Log updates during the work.
The shop assesses paint condition and repair history before installation. Confirm any wash, decontamination, polishing or other preparation in the written scope; paint correction is not automatically included.
Warranty duration, covered defects, exclusions and registration requirements depend on the selected product. Ask for its written terms and any separate workmanship coverage. Impact damage, repair and replacement are assessed separately; no free repair is implied.
