Paint Protection Film · Porsche 911

Porsche 911 paint protection film. San Antonio.

The 911's low nose eats highway debris. PPF absorbs it. Studio-grade installs on the car that invented the PPF category.

The 911 is a PPF car

There's a reason PPF culture in the US started with 911 and GT-series owners. The 911's nose sits lower than almost any other production luxury car, its highway usage per mile driven is higher than most weekend cars, and its paint values — especially on Paint-to-Sample and Individual builds — make a single hood respray cost more than a full PPF install.

For a base Carrera, we typically recommend full-front (bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights) as the sweet spot. Full-front absorbs 90% of highway impacts at a fraction of full-body cost.

For GT3, GT3 RS, Turbo, Turbo S, and Paint-to-Sample builds — and any 911 with a resale value north of K — full-body is the right call. Every painted panel, protected · Vehicle-specific quote

Coverage tiers for the 911

Full front: bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights. Standard 911 protection. Covers the panels highway debris actually hits.

Track pack: full front plus rocker panels, A-pillars, roof leading edge, and side skirt leading edges. For 911s driven at track days or with aggressive lane changes. Rocker damage from downshift rock spray is real, especially on GT cars with wider stances.

Full body: every painted panel. The right answer for Paint-to-Sample, GT3, and any 911 built as a keeper. Includes bumper, hood, roof, fenders, doors, rockers, quarter panels, and rear bumper.

Full-body color-change PPF: same protection tier, but with a colored or satin finish. Change the color of your 911 without touching the factory paint, and stop rock chips at the same time.

911 install and turnaround

Full-front PPF on a 911 is a 3-day build. Full-body runs 6-8 days. The 911's fender flares, air-intake ducting, and complex A-pillar geometry take more time than a Model Y or a G-Wagon — and that time is what separates a wrapped-edge install that lasts 10 years from a lifting-in-two-years install.

We text daily photo updates through every build. One point of contact from consultation to keys-back.

Pair PPF with ceramic coating on the film and glass for hydrophobicity — on a 911 that lives on the street, ceramic on top of PPF cuts wash time significantly. Ask about ceramic window tint at drop-off. Studio at 4949 N Loop 1604 W, Suite 430.
