Why PLM

Seven reasons this is a no-brainer.

Every San Antonio wrap shop claims premium vinyl and clean lines. Most can't prove either. Here's what makes PLM different — and the exact objection each one kills.

01

A written wrap quote for your vehicle.

Vinyl wraps are quoted for your vehicle, selected material and finish. Your written quote identifies covered panels, door-jamb treatment, preparation, removal work and exclusions.

"They're probably going to overcharge me"
02

The Build Log. Photos of your install as it happens.

From the moment your car pulls into our bay, you get real-time photo texts. Prep. Panel disassembly. Plot. Install. Reassembly. Every panel, documented.

"What are they actually doing back there?"
03

5-7 year manufacturer warranty. Registered at pickup.

Manufacturer-backed warranty on our cast vinyl — typically 5 years for standard colors, 7 for premium finishes. Registered to your VIN at pickup. If it fails, we redo it.

"What if it bubbles in two years?"
04

Premium cast vinyl only. Not calendered "budget wrap."

Cast vinyl only, from the industry's top manufacturers. Cast conforms to compound curves and lasts 5-7 years. Calendered vinyl (the bargain option) shrinks and cracks in 18 months. We won't quote calendered on a color change.

"Am I paying premium for bargain vinyl?"
05

Plan your installation

Installation timing depends on vehicle size, film selection, preparation, and design complexity. PLM will confirm the project scope and schedule before the appointment is finalized.

"They said 1 week and it's been a month"
06

Reversible. VIN unchanged. Value protected.

A properly-installed wrap is fully reversible in 3-5 years with no paint damage — and it actually protects the factory paint underneath from UV fade and light chips. Selling the car? Peel it off, factory paint is preserved. Registration and VIN are unaffected.

"Will this hurt my resale?"
07

Fleet capable. Real capacity for real accounts.

PLM handles multi-vehicle fleet accounts — service trucks, contractor vans, delivery fleets, dealer-lot inventory. Consistent branding across vehicles, scheduling confirmed for each vehicle, one invoice, one contact. Ask about the fleet program.

"Can they actually handle my 12-truck fleet?"
The Build Log

You watch it happen. On your phone. In real time.

Every other shop takes your keys and hands them back four hours later. You have no idea what happened. PLM turns that anxious black box into a documented build you can screenshot and share.

Quick Answers

The questions you'd ask on the phone.

How is my quote determined?

Vinyl wraps are quoted for your vehicle, selected material and finish. Your written quote identifies covered panels, door-jamb treatment, preparation, removal work and exclusions.

Does a wrap ruin my paint?

No — the opposite. A properly-installed cast vinyl wrap protects factory paint from UV fade, light rock chips, and swirl marks for the life of the wrap. When you peel it in 3-5 years, the paint underneath is typically better preserved than an equivalent unwrapped car. VIN, title, and registration are unaffected.

How long does a wrap last?

Standard gloss cast vinyl lasts 5-7 years outdoors. Premium finishes (satin chrome, brushed) run 3-5 years. Reversal recommended before end-of-life to avoid adhesive residue on paint. Fleet vehicles typically get a re-wrap every 4-5 years for brand refresh.

Can I bring my own vinyl?

No. We only install premium cast vinyl from the industry's leading manufacturers because that's what our warranty is written against. If you have a specific color or finish you want that we don't stock, we'll source it and quote accordingly.

Fleet pricing — what's the deal?

Vinyl wraps are quoted for your vehicle, selected material and finish. Your written quote identifies covered panels, door-jamb treatment, preparation, removal work and exclusions.

Can you wrap a Tesla, Cybertruck, or exotic?

Yes — every Tesla, every Cybertruck, and most exotic bodies including sculpted supercars (McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche GT, R8, GT-R). Cybertruck's flat stainless panels are ideal for wrap. Sculpted supercar bodywork requires cast vinyl and experienced hands — confirmed in your written quote after we see the car.
